Program Overview

Step One: Apply Online
Submit your application during the first 10 days of the month. Applications must be sponsored by a Tail Waggers member, local rescue, or veterinarian.

Step Two: Lottery Selection
On the 15th of the month, two applicants are chosen through our SNAP lottery to receive financial assistance.

Step Three: Receive Voucher & Book Your Appointment
Selected applicants receive a $125 voucher and contact our partner veterinarian directly to schedule their pet’s spay or neuter within 90 days.
SNAP Terms at a Glance
SNAP provides financial assistance only — we don’t provide the medical care ourselves.
Vouchers are $125, valid only at our partner veterinarian, and expire in 90 days.
Pet owners are responsible for discussing any risks or concerns directly with the veterinarian before surgery.
By applying, you agree to use the voucher only for your approved pet and release Tail Waggers HOPP, Inc. from liability related to the procedure.
